Retainers are required to confirm ceremony services. Once a date has been retained, it is unavailable for other events. Dates that are not secured by receipt of retainer are available to be scheduled for other events or locations.
Once retained, I do not accept other service engagements for that date. In order to ensure that you are are serious about my services, the retainer is a requirement.
As we'll usually have the luxury of time to begin to plan your wedding, I will accept a check or money order for my retainer, as long as there is sufficient time for your check to clear before the ceremony date (minimum of 10 business days).
For services occurring less than the 10 days, payment in full must be made through bank or cashier's check, or money order.
I also provide electronic invoice for online payments. Please coordinate with me ahead of time for this option to make sure your desired date is available. If you'd like to use Paypal or Google Checkout, please note that you don;t have to have an account with these folks. We maintain a secure web account with them.
